Can anyone tell me if there is still a beach at Lighthouse Condos? I am interested in a beach area (small is OK) where you can throw down a towel or two and swim as well as extremely easy access to the water for snorkeling. Is there any sand left on the beach at Lighthouse after Lenny?

Does anyone recall if there are any steps for entry into the swimming pool? Or is there just a ladder to gain entry and exit? The photos on the website give the impression there is only a metal ladder and a slide.

I am looking for accommodations which are not too expensive (moderate is OK) but with a swim beach area and easy shore access for snorkeling and a pool with easy entry/exit. Thanks!!

When we were there in March, there didn't seem to be a beach actually at the condos, but at the lighthouse dive site, which I think you can only easily reach from the main road??

My recollection from staying there last year is that there are only steps into the pool.

josie, the beach, which was recently groomed, is in front of the first row of condos and is for the use of all those using the comlex...

Also, regarding the pool, there are two vertical ladders (one in shallow and one in the deep section), and a slide. No steps into the water.

Four of us will be staying in a 2-bedroom unit at the Lighthouse 04/21 through 04/28. I understand that only the 3-bedroom units have bbq grills. We are bringing food with us and don't know if we should bring "bbq stuff". Does anyone know how difficult it is to get access to the bbq grills that are at Lighthouse and/or if you can purchase a cheapy somewhere in Bonaire?
