Looking for quiet accommodations for two with snorkeling at our doorstep. (Ocean view on the beach, prefer condo or smaller resort)

Any suggestions? (It is our first trip to Bonaire, other "tips" welcome.)

Divi is a small resort, very quiet and well run. Also there are units on the water and of course there is snorkeling right there. I have been a guest at Divi twice and loved it.

Actually everything in Bonaire is very quiet. The only small property I am familiar with on a beach is Divi. There are MANY super places on the water with snorkeling but no "beach".

Linda, The snorkeling is incredible at the Divi and another plus is that the Woodwind guided snorkels on a trimaran sails from the dive dock there!!! It is an awesome time!!! Check out some of my trip reports for a lot of details on the wonderful snorkeling adventures we have had in paradise!!! We love staying at the Divi and the location can't be beat for walking into town!!

Divi always get my vote too. Easy to be there. Has a small beach with lots of fish right off of it and the tanning piers are so nice to lounge out on. Easy walk to town too. Renee's snorkel trip on the Woodwind is from there and I think she does night snorkeling from the beach also. Get one of the delux room overlooking the water, my favorite hotel room there. We own one a timeshares there. Wherever you choose to stay I'm sure your fall in love with this treasure of an island like the rest of us from the board. Enjoy!

We are Divi lovers, too...very partial to the Divi. We, also, own a timeshare there and do nothing but snorkeling....it is amazing how many beautiful fish you can find in only two inches of water and even more as it gets deeper. The beach is small and intimate, not crowded, has easy access and loaded with gorgeous fishies all over the place the moment you set foot into the water. There are other places on Bonaire that might fit your needs, but we love the Divi tremendously. Have a wonderful time no matter where you stay! CArole

Linda,
Search the Bonaire web site for Frank's Place. I think it's 1000/week, condo, on the water. It does not have a "Beach" but it does have a dock/deck with a ladder going down to the water. Very quiet.
