Hi John
If clothing optional is not an issue, definately Sorobon Beach. Rooms are airy and clean. Resort is located directly on the beach with a wonderful pier - all on Lac Bay. Views of the windsurfers, great snorkeling. Hospitality great - staff wonderful.
Have fun !

When you say "better", what are you referring to?

Sorry, let me explain a little. When I said "better", I was referring to amenities, more modern, better value $. Thanks

I don't think there are any amenities in Lac Bay

Not many amenities and rooms very modest. Modern - not so much. More of a beach atmosphere - a very open aire beach bungalo type place.
There is a restaurant, car rental service, and different activities.
Value wise they are reasonably priced - haven't been on the island in three years so can't say exactly what prices would be.
Definately worth a shot if you're interested in a very relaxing beach experience. (No t.v. - no phone / but excellent atmosphere and staff.

Dear John,

If you want brochures for either LBR or Sorobon, please let me know and include your "snailmail" address. I represent both .... A lot of windsurfers stay at LBR .. and some windsurfers stay at Sorobon Beach Resort because it is convenient. But, it is not appreciated or encouraged for anyone to stay at Sorobon and wear clothes. Light clothing for dinner, but none on the beach.. The place is beautiful, quiet and a delight to visit... Prices are $$215 for 2 people until April 1st... and then they are $155 ... if you really want more indepth info.. please call me at 800-253-6573 ... I am in Florida and basically here.. 7 days and nights ( except when I visit Bonaire !!
