Older guide books report 2 casinos on the island: 1 @ Divi, and 1 @ Plaza. But my understanding is that Plaza no longer has a casino.

Can anyone confirm this?

Casino has been closed at the Plaza for many years. We were there in July.

I remember a few years back it was used to serve food and show movies in when Hurricane Ivan hit. We lost power by they had a generator for the main building. It was sorta like camping out!

Regardless, we've always enjoyed our stay at The Plaza.
