I know Divi has wifi in the check-in lobby area. Does anybody know if they ever got the wifi to work specifically by the timeshare pool area? If so, are they charging for it? When I was there last Jan. they were supposed to be putting an antenna near the dive shop so that the timeshare area would get wifi, without having to walk down to the lobby. Thanks. Stu

Stu, I was able to get wifi sitting outside near the timeshare pool no problem.

when we were on bonaire the last two weeks of september, it appeared that we had a signal at the timeshare pool and down on the little sun dock, but the internet would never connect. It was always better for us to go to the lobby. Walking back to the timeshares with my iphone, I usually lost the signal in front of Calabas restaurant.

RA may have been there more recently, so things could have changed in the last two months ...

Same here Kathy. In Nov 08, we had connectivity in our rooms and I did my Black Friday shopping. In Mar 09, we had a signal but the internet would never connect. I asked the front desk and basically the internet over in the timeshare area is only turned on when there's a meeting in the room over the dive shop (if they pay for it). Otherwise, the lobby is the only spot thats reliable.

Hi All, we just returned and stayed in the newly remodeled studio rooms. No internet for us. Most of the time in the Lobby, it would show a strong signal but I was only able to log on twice. Loved the new rooms, going back next year for 2 weeks. Wish they would work on the WIFI.
