Well, my buddy and I thought we had a spot at CPR in February but we didn't pull the trigger fast enough. What other spots on the North part of the island do folks recommend? Smaller and more casual and reasonably priced is better. We'll be diving from Buddy Dive, but don't really want to stay there.

Thanks!

David, Check out BOA (Bonaire Oceanfront Apartments) http://www.bonaireoceanfrontapartments.com/
They have a Buddydive shop on site, place to rince gear and store same. Fresh water pool, and right on the sea. Good diving right out front. The apartments have full kitchen, full livingroom, terrace, and A/C in the bedrooms. Did I mention the price is right. BOA is located next to Bobbejans(one building north). I hope this helps you quest... Ron

Hamlet Oasis? I'm not sure of their pricing. I'd also recommend Black Durgon. Sand Dollar, Den Laman (newer), and not as large as Buddy's or Cap Don's. Divers Paradise, you can use the BD dock and get the free breakfast. Caribbean Court (by Oil Slick).

I've stayed at Sand$, BD, and Diver's Paradise and can recommend them personally. There are rooms at Divers that have ocean views.

Contact Ann Phelan as well, she may have some suggestions. someone have her contact info handy? I don't:-(

Thanks folks. I think we're going to try something different and stay with the Coco Palm Garden folks south.

David,
Let us know what your experience was! Not been there but you never know. Always interested in hearing about smaller places. I am more likely to stay in them.

David, Coco Palms is a great place. Brigette and Marion are gems and it's clean, well run, and a great atmosphere. Remember though that you don't get daily maid service, need to empty your own trash, buy your own TP, pay extra for AC, etc. I believe all of this is on their website as they are designated as "self contained vacation units."

Just a shout out, some folks in the past did not read the information and were surprised.
