What is the status of the old Dive Inn across from Cha-Cha-Cha Beach?

They are no longer there, but a high rise is just about done being built there presently.

I was the last person to stay at the Dive Inn. Then next day they sold everything that could be moved, then tore it down. I didn't think I did that much damage, but, you just never know!!

Hi Debbie Sorry to hear about the High-rise. The Dive Inn wasn't the Plaza or Harbor Village but the price was right, hosts were great and the location the best. How Hi-rise is the new building?
Anyone have a recent photo?

Hi Bill. We have stayed at the Dive Inn numerous times as well. Towards the end, Cha Cha started becoming a bit of a hassle. Motorcycles and cars screaming in front, loud music, etc. I even had people coming up asking if they could use the bathroom. I'm a really nice guy, but that was the final straw. Serenity Now!!! Anyway, we did have many good years and memories with a lot of people there.

I always heard you were never ostentatious with your money, but staying at the Dive Inn? Come on. What did Melinda think about it. LOL Sorry, had to say it.
