I see that a lot of rental places will have on their websites something like, "2 bedrooms (A/C)". Does it mean that the rest of the unit does not have air conditioning? Is it common on Bonaire to just have air in the bedrooms?

Thanks,

Bonaire Dec. 27-Jan. 3. Can't wait!!!

Carlyle, welcome to BT. Your interpretation is correct.

Hi Carlyle, Welcome to BT! In answer to your question, yes, it is very common to just have air in the bedrooms. There are "some" places that have it throughout, but not the norm on Bonaire. You should ask the place your staying at how they do it if it is a concern of yours.

Thanks for the replies. It is not a deal breaker for me. This is probably our sixth or seventh time going to Bonaire. I honestly don't remember the A/C situation. The only things that really matter are the diving, an ocean view and a full kitchen. Being vegan we have to cook most of our food. There's no place that I know of like Bonaire in the world where you can completely dive on your own...with a buddy of course. It keeps drawing us back.

Carlyle, welcome to BT ! And you live near me ! I'm about 30 miles east of Columbus.

If you'd have joined a few months earlier, we had a Bonaire Talk party at my house in July ! Maybe next year you can make it !

Thanks Kelly, actually we're about 30 miles north of Columbus in the country, but I lived in Columbus for years and I work in Columbus and nobody would recognize the "city" (Cardington) I live in. (LOL) Maybe next year.
