We usually stay at Belmar, but are considering this place for 2010. Has anyone stayed here? Do you know whether or not security is an issue (it's by Andrea I and Andrea II). Thanks!

I've stayed there (#3) for a combined total of 6 1/2 months over several trips with no incident. Though the andrea's, however, did suffer the ransacking of an intruder named Omar

We have stayed in one of the villas and were very happy with the accommodation. Always felt safe.
But we didn't like carrying our gear down to the sea . Although they are 'ocean front' you have to go out of the back gate, down steps and across the beach to the sea. This was a bit further than some shore dives
Great for Andrea 1 & 2 but not so good if you want instant ocean access.

I have had many clients stay at Crown Ridge. They are a cluster of side by side units and they have many full time residents. My property manager also manages 5 units there so is there daily and also does night checks of his units. IMHO this is a VERY secure area as secure as we can be in this life..
