what resorts have house reefs? I have stayed at Capt'n Dons and know they have a very nice one, but how about Caribe Inn? or some of the other resorts. I haven't been to Bonaire in about 10 years and I am ready to go back.
Thanks for your help

Welcome to BT Ann. Simple question, simple answer, all of them (if they are on the water) and not a bad dive in the bunch. The other thing that is pretty cool that you can pretty much dive any of the other house reefs.

Carib Inn's reef is very nice.

Thanks for the info...I am a lot older now :-( and would rather do more boat dives but I would like a nice house reef to fill in when I am not boat diving...I thought it might be nice to go back there and celebrate my 60th birthday...

hello Ann,

Sand Dollar/Den Laman has very nice condominiums directly on the shore, as well as a Dive Dock for easy entry and exit on dive spot Bari Reef. Bonaire Dive and Adventure located on the premise, does frequent boat dives at 9am, 11 am and 1 pm.
Eden Beach with its own beach have the dive shop Wannadive located on their premise, Wannadive also does boat dives but I dont know their schedule, easy entry as well with dock.

Ann,
Dove with the Carib Inn this March. The boat dives were great and highly recommend them. I didn't fine the house reef that great. Visibility was fair. I have previously (6) been to the Black Durgon Inn and the small wall has never disappointed. However no boat diving directly with them.

I am bias, but Bonaire Seaside Apartments is located directly beside Yellow Submarine, so you have easy access to the reef, and the boat; together.

The house reef at The Plaza Resort is called 18 Palms. Easy sandy beach entry. Also they have buoy markers at the 10 foot and 20 foot depth.

Enjoy,
Neptune Nick
