No Steven, I would not say all the places are about the same. Every place has it's fans of followers & every place has it's differences with others. My advice; next time you are on Bonaire, wherever you happen to be staying, take the time to check out other accommodations for future trips to get your own feel as to what's available.

Steven,

As Vince says, the resorts differ in their approaches to diving.

What do you mean by 'the ease of diving'?? Freedom to dive as you want to, easy entry or what?? :–)

Steven, all of Bonaire has easy diving. There are several smaller place that have dive shops that you may consider. The Carib Inn, Bonaire Ocean front, The Caribbean Club. Carib inn and Bonaire Oceanfront are with in a couple minutes walk to the center of town.

I guess I don't understand doing the same dive over and over. After you dive one place, go see another. So it really doesn't matter where you stay. There are different things to see in each section. We did 11 assorted spots in 4 days and I thought the best was site #1 at the very top in Washington National Park. Huge coral heads with amazing variety. Even snorkeling the calm side of Bay was great on the days you have to fly.

Steve,

I return to my favorite sites (Bari, LaMachaca and Invisibles) time after time because I watch fishes and other animals like octopus: they are never the same twice. Sometimes I just sit and watch life on the reef – endlessly fascinating. Especially at afternoon change of light.

I believe that if you read through the posts here on BT about other people's experiences diving Bonaire you will see that many (most?) are doing much the same sort of diving that I do.

No problem with your judgment of your own experience, just an explanation of how we are different. For instance, I don't dive the northern sites because there I have seen mostly coral with few fish. Coral is the same for long periods so I don't go back to 'coral sites'. One of the wonderful things about diving Bonaire is that you can do different kinds of diving so easily.

Enjoy. :–)
