Each unit at Lighthouse Beach is different as they are individually owned. Be sure to get as much info as possible about the unit you will be in. A few years ago our unit was great but the other couple we were with had a very bad experience as their unit was in great disrepair.

Susan, so sorry you had a bad experience. Our unit when we bought it was a mess...infact the area was a mess..but we just remodeled ours from top to bottom. I have placed other in units other than mine (4 at least) and have had nothing but praises. It is a shame that some owners who don't keep up the inside of their units, make it difficult for those of us that do. If you want to see what my unit looks like please let me know what you think. Also, many of the "not so nice units have been sold over the past couple of years and have been renovated like mine.

We had friends that rented Liz's unit and it was indeed very nice. Other friends rented a few doors down and did not have as nice a unit. As a matter of fact, when they got there the utilities were turned off. All was corrected but the extras just were not there. Check out which property you are renting.

Hi Susan. You are correct, the units at Lighthouse Beach Resort are individually owned. Perhaps for that reason, even though the layouts are basically the same, they all vary slightly.

To the best of my knowledge the older, established units have been remodelled after the damaged caused by Lenny's surge.

You stayed in my unit a few years ago. It remains as nice today as it was than, if not better.
