The surge occurred on November 16th. You can find details at http://www.BonaireENews.com. The Sand Dollar Condos themselves suffered no damage, but the Sand Dollar dive shop location was destroyed. However, the dive shop is now fully operational in a different location adjacent to the property. More details on this can be found at http://www.SandDollarBonaire.com.

Jake, the link that you indicate has things like
"Scuba dive or snorkel at SandDollar Dive and Photo, a PADI 5-Star facility, just steps from your condominium. Enjoy the outstanding meals at the Green Parrot Restaurant located on the waterfront."
There is no point in looking here! That is not to say that the SD should be discarded - I just booked there for August!

Click on the flashing "Latest News" just below the aerial view of the resort located on the righthand side of the Sand Dollar home page. Sand Dollar has posted a statement about the condition of the resort since the waves in November.

Sand Dollar dive and Photo has been operating continually since the surge. There is shore diving from the property with access either from ladders or from the new beach deposited by the storm. Boat diving continues with boats at the marina and transportation there. There is also drive in tank fill station going up.
The Green Parrot is down for the moment, but there are 7 restaurants within a 1 block walk of Sand Dollar and a grocery store on premises. Den Laman (right next door to Sand Dollar and a step away from Dive Shop)is now serving lunch regularly. Efforts are being made to restore things as soon as possible.
