Hello fellow Bonaire lovers!
Has anyone stayed at Buddy Dive in the last few months? If so - what were your impressions? I have been staying there the last 7 years, and in February it was sold to new owners (same one that owns Plaza, I think). I am trying to find out if the new management has made any changes for the better (or worse)?

We were at Buddy's from 6/29-7/6 in a three bedroom unit. This being our second visit in the past 11 months and we did not notice a difference. Everything was clean and everyone was helpful. Most of the same great friendly employees are still there. Helene, Jasmine, Rosita to name a few. They have moved the dive shop and are adding to the landscaping, all changes for the better. Go ahead and book with them again is my advise to you. We love the drive and dive and you can't beat the drive thru tank fill. Debbie

I have to agree with Debbie. We were there June 8-15 (3rd year) and all the changes were for the better. Most of the same people and same great service. I would go back in a minute......Blast, PBD is starting to act up!

Just returned from there July 6-13 of this year. This was our first time there, but it will not be our last. Really loved the place.

Can't compare to previous owner since we have only stayed there once, May 24-31, but we found everything to be great! Room was clean and in good working order. The restaurant staff was very friendly. The dive staff was excellent- friendly, informed. Everyone made us feel welcome and gave us the feeling that they were there to make sure we had a great time....and we did. I can't think of a single negative about any part of the operation at Buddy Dive.
