I have booked flights March 15- 23 (Sat-Sunday 8 night stay) and am deciding between week long rentals (Bellefonte, Bel-Air condo, Lighthouse beach condo) but we likely need to book one or two nights at a different location as we will be there for 8 nights. Any recommendation or suggestions? We are looking for well located, nicely appointed with amenities incl water front (or waking distance) with swimming, AC, cooking facilities.

VERY excited about the trip! I am hopeful that I will return with "PBD" and become a "BT" junkie as well :-) This forum beats any tourism guide/site I have ever seen hands down.

Jason, have you asked the places you are interested in if you can pay for the extra nights? Often rates are listed on a website as "per week" but can be extended.

Hi susan,

We are currently leaning toward the Lighthouse but it is only available for 6 nights. If it is difficult to get short term stays that may sway us away from LBR.

We didn't have any problem booking an extra night at Sand Dollar this May (also an 8-night stay). Last time we stayed at Deep Blue View (also for 8 nights) and loved it; the only reason we aren't going back is they were booked for our timeframe.

You can't always find the per/night rates on websites, but it's usually pretty close to the weekly rate divided by 7 (depending on dive packages etc)

Have fun!

We have never had a problem renting for extra nights at any of the places we have stayed (Harbour Village, Plaza, Belmar or LBR) during past visits when we wanted an extra night as long as they had space available. All LBR units are individually owned and individually rented so you might check some of the other units for their availability that time period.
