I'm going to the Buddy Dive Resort in Bonaire in April. I had a friend that went two years ago and said that if you charge your food to your room that they take a discount off of it when you check out. Does any one know if this is still true or any details on it?

Buddy's has a special during certain times of the year. Buy one meal and get 50% off 2nd meal at their restaurant. I remember it being for lunches and you did have to charge to your room. We took advantage of it this past April and several other times over the last 9 years we're stayed there. Best to email the resort directly to inquire if it's something they will do in '08. We will be there in May so will miss this year's offer I am sure.

Hello all.New to the board but a long time visitor to Bonaire,since 1976.There every year or two.
I have a group out of NY at Buddy's may 4-11..The offer is in effect with us.Its 50% off at the hotel restaurant/bar.They take up to $75. off your bill .Does not apply to Lions Inn restaurant.We were there last year at the same time and it was also offered then.

I just made reservations for a week at Buddy's in May. Violette in reservations said for the months of April and May they are offering the 50% off (up to $75) food/beverage - excludes Lions Den restaurant as usual. Hope this helps.

Wooo! What a great bit of info! While I hope to go out and explore some of other food options on the island, it's nice to know I can grab a cheap(er) bite right there where I'm staying.
