does $10 count...once in a while a local hits a big jackpot of a few thousand, but it is not common.

Andrea, I think more money was won by the locals with the old weekly Bingo night! LOL. I don't believe the game exists on that level on Bonaire any longer tho. Joe and I used to love to swim in the pool at the Divi and watch and listen to everyone enjoy their evening playing Bingo on the deck/bar area at the Divi. Everyone brought snacks, treats, beverages and just had a great time all evening long playing Bingo.

As far as the casino.....If I can walk away breaking "even" it's considered a "win" in my book! Free entertainment that way.

The smoke does get to me after a while in the small casino, however. Have to leave as it really gets to my "lungs", nose and eyes, etc. if we are in there too long.

It's a very intimate little casino tho and can be fun. Enjoy!! Carole

Bingo night was lots of fun. Never won but enjoyed it a lot.

I have played in the casino for years and have managed to stay afloat somewhat. My daughter used to come with me when she was 15-16 and wanted me to play roulette. 23 she would always say. I would do a couple of small bets (actually they would let her put the chips down) then I would opt for slots or blackjack.

3 years ago (she was 24 yrs old) she comes into the casino with me and as I play slots she wanders over to roulette and puts $5 on number 23. Yes, 23 came up. She cashed out, waved the bills at me, smiled and went off to her room. I went and got her and took picture of her with the $ under the casino sign. I think it was like $175 or so. True.

Ray
