They all talk about "The Canals" and much the same thing, and for the life of me I can't find where I read the number of permanent jobs expected to be created. Might have been in The Reporter an issue or two ago but that was recycled already. Any help here? I will continue to have an open mind about this and hope that the silver lining is good jobs creation and more overnight stay divers who will pump real dollars into the local economy. It still upsets my stomach to think of that little mess of a trust fund tart coming to Bonaire.
