At one time Plaza resort offered beach privleges to non guests, for a nominal fee. This got you use of a towel and a lounge chair. Does anyone know if they still offer it.

I believe both Plaza and Divi continue to offer this option.

I have been over to the Plaza a few times. We sat at the bar, swam in the ocean and snorkled. I even pulled ome older South American man out last time who was having a heart attack. His wife started screaming for help in Spanish. I got there and pulled him to shore. An ambulance quickly arrived and took him to the hospital in town. The Plaza bought me drinks the rest of the day, even though we were staying at the Divi. He survived, and everything was OK.

Just don't dare sit on one of the Plaza's chaises with your own towel or that Beach Nazi will approach you looking for money!

Tom and I are regulars to Bonaire. we always rent chairs from the Plaza while on Bonaire. We paid for a two week rental from the French couple who have the sailboats in January and intend to do so when we return next month. I think it is great becase we stay at the Caribean Court and just walk to the beach each day and watch the sunset or take a nap. Plus we also enjoy happy hours and volleyball at the Plaza beach. it is great for guy and girl watching!
