Hi everybody...

My wife and I are going to Bonaire for the first time next May, first time in the Caribbean for that matter. We're pure snorkel'rs, so I suspect two weeks face down in the drink. I don't see much about Belair, any thoughts on the place? Looking for a quiet place to sleep, maybe make our own breakfast, enjoy a cool drink on the lanai...

Thanks in advance...

We really like it there and have been there for the past 6 years. It is just up the street from the Belmar and right on the water. The view from the patio is wonderful and the sunsets are fantastic. They have full kitchens but each unit is privately owned so the decor is different. Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms and most units have a safe. We will be back there again in March. For specific details you can e-mail me direct.

Who do you contact for info on the Belair apts. I can't find anything on the web, probably not putting in the right words (not unusual for me)
Thanks Andy

To the best of my knowledge, most of the places at Belair are individually owned and individually rented. One place that has a web site is Frank's Place, http://www.bonaireguide.net.

Although I have not stayed in this unit, I was thinking about it for a future stay and was in contact with the owner. Corney has stayed in this unit, so perhaps check with her directly.

Another possible path to Belair units is via Marina at the Donkey Sanctuary. I believe she serves as the on-island agent for several of the owners.

I am also aware of another Belair unit, the ground floor end unit at the Southern end of Belair which is sometimes available for rent (it is not mine and I have no financial interest in it!). Send me an e-mail if you are really interested and I will provide the contact info for it.

Thanks Freddie and Dr. D,
We are interested but it will be awhile before we will be able to go back to Bonaire. Probably will be late Sept or Oct. Will keep these links in mind for sure.

Andy
