There are some cheap flights with KLM that fit in with our Easter break. We want accommodation between 5th and 19th April. We cannot go to any of the usual villas that we have stayed in, they are already booked. Normally we stay in a house with diving off the back porch and a pool if possible. We are quite self contained and like privacy so are not interested in places like Buddy's or Sand Dollar. (I hope other BTer's will also vouch for the fact that we are quite sociable if approached :-))
So BTer's, would we be happy with Lighthouse beach and which houses would be best for us?
Please feel free to drop me a private e mail, I don't want anyone getting in trouble with the moderators just for helping us out. Hugs to the moderators!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed Light House Beach Resort #13 in October, very qiet, nice pool, good beach diving. The Beach did have too much current / waves for us the first couple of days we were there but was fine the rest of the week for easy shore entry. While we loved unit 13, if diving right off your back porch is important you might want a unit right on the beach which is certainly nice for sun rise sun set views. It is much quieter and secluded than Buddy's, at least while we were there in Oct. There are a number of units so although there was nobody at the pool any day we were there, that might not be the case when you go in April. Again, we would highly recommend it based on our experience. Others may be able to say more about what it would be like in April.

Thank you all so much for all the emails you have sent us. We have got our accommodation fixed. Not LHB this time but we will certainly go there. The community seems wonderful from the responses I have had. Thank you all once again.

Ocean reef house in Belnem, Bob's choice. I usually do all the choosing but as I said, all my choices were already let. I think I will admit that I then 'threw my dummy out of the pram' so Bob made a wish list, calmed me down and made the final choice. I got so mad that I could get a cheap flight and couldn't get anywhere to live. Roll on 5th April :-)
( I always worry that when I write about my Bob someone will think it is THE OTHER BOB)

I stayed at EEG 50, a couple houses down the road from Ocean Reef house, and loved diving the reef at the house. We were there for four weeks and saw ONE couple on the reef in that time. Almost behind that house are two of the largest green moray eels I have ever seen. We also saw spotted eagle rays on several dives. You should love it.
