I swear I saw an RCI flag while driving by Buddy Dive Resort in October, but I haven't been able to find it on the RCI site or anything about it at the Buddy site. Anybody know anything? Thanks!

Yes, they are affiliated with RCI. The flag is on the north end of property - what used to be Lion's Dive. It still may be listed under Lion's Dive Resort in the book.

My daughter has RCI and has been in contact with Buddy's and RCI to use an exchange. She's been unsuccessful, so far.

Well, a couple of years is what you're gonna need to get a res there, believe me!

I'm quite experienced in this as I was able to exchange there over 2 yrs ago but last year I couldn't get in and now I've had to book all the way to Dec 2007 just to get one week there. And I own two weeks!

Lion's Dive, now part of Buddy Dive is my favorite place I've stayed on the island so far. Spacious one bedroom with a full kitchen with A/C all over and the most killer view right on the water!

But like I said, you really gotta book waaaaay in advance to get in there through RCI. Good luck all!

My husband and I just returned from Bonaire last night. While we were there, I saw the RCI flag and asked about ownership. I was told that was no longer offered- I was VERY disappointed! My hope now is to find one of those Lions Dive owners that want to sell their unit (especially if it's in May).

We have stayed at Buddy Dive (and Lions Dive) for the last 5 years. You can't beat the location, staff and the diving!

My wife Karen and I have been able to exchange through RCI to Lions Dive four times in eleven years.
The affiliation with Buddy's has greatly improved the operation. To be brief It's wonderful.
We did not get our exchange for January so we're staying at Bellafonte. Can't wait !!!!
