My wife and I are going to bonaire the 3rd week of January. We are staying with our 2 kids age 2 and 4 and my in-laws. Any feedback on the Happy holiday Homes? My wife is kindof disappointed because it does not seem to have a pool for the kids. Any tips for things to do for the non-divers? (2kids and grandparents)

You can use the pool at Great Escape.

Hi Jason, welcome to Bonaire Talk. Happy Holiday Homes is a nice property it is also very close to Bachelors Beach, a great swimming beach.

The Great Escape is just across the street and you can use the pool there. Bachelors Beach is a nice area to swim, you will often see locals there swimming. HHH is a nice, quite, laid back place. Have only stayed there once but liked everything about it except no onsite dive shop. Otherwise no complaints.

Jason, I am a non diver with a 3 and 6 year old. I have been going to HHH for 20 years and never felt a need for a pool. Now with Kevin across the street at the Great Escape welcoming HHH guests it meets the need for those who want one. Actually, used the pool for my two last time and have the feeling that they will want to go back when we return in December. No problem, Kevin has a TV and cold beer.
