We have 7 people going to Bonaire in November. Only 2 are divers but the rest want water access.
3 couples and 1 single. We stayed at Sand Dollar with a ladder access directly to the ocean right outside our condo and loved it. Since we've outgrown the 3 bedroom units we are looking for something else close!

Hi Tami - welcome to Bonaire Talk. This past summer there were 9 of that stayed at a house that was right on the water, 5 bedrooms, large property, cook and butler, and simply wonderful.

You can check it out at sunrentals. I think that the website is www.sunrentals.an. Go to vacation rentals on the left hand side of the page and then click on big villas. Where we stayed was called Villa Oasis. It has walk out access to the water - no ladders. It does have one draw back but it didn't really bother us after the first night and that was the way too early KLM flight. We really didn't hear it after that or if we did we just went right back to sleep.

If your group is a mixed group, meaning couples, friends and families we found it to be excellent.

Our friends stayed at a house just north of Sand Dollar they rented through Sunbelt Realty. It was an amazing 3-bedroom villa with a pool and a private ocean access for swimming or diving. Per capita, their weekly rate was equivalent to a condo. For large parties, a house is the way to go. We were in Bonaire the same time and got to visit the house to enjoy their amenities.

Thanks to all of you guys that answered me so quickly. I did find sunrentals and saw that had some great offerings. I'm going to meet with the group this week and pass along. I'll contact you guys directly if we need more data! I'm so excited to get back to the island. We fell in love!
