Hello everyone
After a long wait we will finally be able to visit Bonaire. We don't dive, but love to snorkel. Can you provide some info regarding Sunset ocean villa. It's location, what it is near, how is the beach? I have searched and have found very little info, but it is in our price range and on the water.
Any other recommendations are also welcomed.

Hi Allison
We are making our 3rd and probably our last trip to Bonaire (moving back to Australia after 9yrs in Denmark). This time we wanted to be near the water as we are taking the kids (6 & 3yrs) and their grandparents. I have just booked Sunset Ocean Villa from 25/10 to 7/11, hope they weren't the dates you wanted. If you email bonairelodgings they will send you they new photos of the house were you can see the back porch and steps down to the coral beach. It is really close to the water and it looks like there are just normal porch steps (maybe 8 or less) down to the beach.

Many places on Bonaire have a long way down to the water and some are just that 10 steep steps into the water, no rock, beach etc. Sometimes with a very cliff edge just too much risk with the kids.

www.bonairelodging.com also has Ultimo Cas, Pelican Reef
www.bonaireparnter.com has Casa del Sol,
www.habourtownbonaire.com Has Seavilla, I spoke to Amanda at the office she was extremely helpful but unfortunately the owners were using the house at that time.
An amazing one I just found last night but is not available when we need it
www.sunbelt.an under rentals then short term, house is called Esmeralda Beach House, a little more expensive but it looks lovely, bars on the windows, good air flow through the house and it should be good snorkelling.

Tip if you have the address of a house go to www.infobonaire.com and find the street and then use their divesite map to find dive and snorkel sites.

Hope this is of some help.
Cheers
Abi
