Which would be better for 2 families of 4 - children ages 3 and 5. Looks like at Sand $ we can use the child care services and dive. Otherwise, diving is a challenge... Both locations have 2 bedroom condos - that's really what interests me. Divi does not have 2 bedroom suites, Plaza - the suites are located pretty far from the pool/beach. Any suggestions/advice?

Given your situation I think I'd chose Sand Dollar because of the children..
1. They have child care services & kid's entertainment programs.. To my knowledge Den laman does not
2. Sand Dollar has the pool, Den Laman does not.
**Conversely**
3. If you have an oceanfront room at Den Laman, no doubt you will have a better view of the Caribbean then what you'll get at Sand Dollar.
4. Den Laman is only about 1 year old so everythings new. It's also smaller than S.D.(although the 2 bedroom units are over 1300 sq feet)
Obviously you have to weigh the differences & figure out what's more important to you..
