Has anyone stayed here recently? I will be there in the next couple of weeks and wanted some feedback.

Thanks,

Vanessa

I stayed there last Sept, and it was great. We were just a bunch of guys who went to dive and nothing more than eat sleep and dive, this fit us perfect, other than a great staff clean rooms and a pool to rinse the salt off you what more do you need. Overall YC is very clean and the really goes out of the way for you, when I booked I emailed a shopping list because of our late arrival and sure enough there it was when we finally got there, the only thing that stinks is location, you really can't walk to anything other than pasa bon pizza. Hope this helps and enjoy your trip

We stayed at Yacht Club in April for 12 days. You will not be disappointed!! I echo everything Christopher posted. We were three couples and a single!

I stayed there a couple of years ago by myself and really didn't have much to complain about. It was cheap, clean and I don't mind the location because I always rent a car..which I can't understand how people do without. If you don't need a lot of luxury, it can't be beat...especially with Pasa Bon Pizza and Bistro De Paris right next door! But I don't think they had hot water when I was there...they might now...some people don't care, but after having done it several times, I'm too spoiled not to have my warm shower at the end of the day!

Thanks for the feedback. When y'all stayed there were you able to plug in appliances (i.e. chargers and hair dryers) and for you recent guests, did you have hot water?

Thanks,

Vanessa

Vanessa, hot water in the bathroom and shower none in kitchen. My wife added that she takes hot water from the shower to do dishes. Coffee filters are Mr Coffee and we weren't able to get any in the stores in Bonaire...take them. My wife says take an extension cord (at least 25 feet) as there is no outlet in the bathroom for your hair dryer and you have to go from the bedroom.

Even though there is only air conditioning in the bedroom...open front and back doors (while you are there) and enjoy the BREEZE!!

All your US plug ins will work just need the extension cord for the bedroom.

Oh I totally remember now blow drying my hair in the living room Dave! I remember my first day there....looking FOREVER for the outlet in the bathroom...thinking...who in the hell designed this place?? Certainly not a woman!

You can get basket filters at Tropical Flamingo.

Thanks for the feedback. Four days and counting, and I think Yacht Club will work just fine.

One more question for those who have stayed there, which of the single rooms looked best (i.e. upstair or down).

Also, if anyone is there July 28th through Aug 3, I am still looking for additional shore dive buddies.

Thanks,

Vanessa
