Hi am new here looking for some advice on accommodation. After reading all the useful info you guys have given to others hope you can help.
Am holidaying in Peru March/April 2007 and have been considering a 6/7 day relax in Bonair afterwards.
Tour operator has offered the Divi Flamingo or Harbour Village. Have read some reports on the Divi which arnt too complimentary. Can anyone give me their recommendations.
Cheers
Bob

Bob, I don't know of anything "not too complimentary" about Divi. It is a very nice resort, well managed and convenient to everything. We have stayed there 13 times and have never been disappointed. Go for it!

I'm with George on this one. I personally love staying at the Divi and have gone back time and time again, and again :-)

But the question is what is important to you as you compare the Divi and the Harbour Village.

Hi George & Denise
Thank you so much for your positive feedback on the Divi. As I am not an avid diver we are going to Bonaire for R & R after what we think will be a strenuous 14 days in Peru and Bolivia.
What we are looking for are clean rooms of a reasonable standard for comfort and amenities, helpful staff. Also, as we are going room only, some good places to eat.
As you have both been their several times I guess thats a good recommendation.
Cheers
Bob

Hi, Bob. Here's one vote for Harbour Village. My husband and I stayed there for 10 days last April/May and loved it. The accommodations are lovely and the beach large and shaded with lots of palm trees. We have never stayed at the Divi, but I get the feeling that it is geared more to the serious diver. We are snorkelers and were very pleased with our stay at Harbour Village. If you think you might want to stay at HV, look into the Lazy Days and Dreamy Nights package. And, if you haven't already done so, check out their Web site: www.harbourvillage.com. Hope this helps.

Judy
