Newbie here. We have a group of 7 divers going to Bonaire Sept. 19-27, 2006 (first time to Bonaire for all of us). Considering staying at the Bonaire Beachfront Hamlet#10. It's for sale, so appears to be in good shape (to impress potential buyers). Didn't see any recent discussions of this place. Apparently it is located between Richard's restaurant and the fish
market.Any info or advice anyone out there could offer would be most welcome. On some specific issues, if anyone out there knows, (1)Is this place safe/secure?, (2) Will the restaurant and fish market create significant noise, parking problems, etc.? How is the diving and snorkeling off this beach? Many thanks in advance for any advice/info you may have.

Hi Larry,

I believe Hamlet #10 is located north of Captain Don's Habitat and directly on the ocean. It's fairly quiet as it is surrounded by other villas managed by Captain Don's and directly in front of the Hamlet Oasis development. Parking is a bit dicey around that area, but one way or another we've managed to find a place to park. I would contact the owner and ask if there is a car park for the villa. Hope you have a good time.

Hi Debbie, Hamlet Oasis/Bonaire #10 is our unit. Not the same as Beachfront Hamlet #10, although they are both in the same general area, next to Captain Don's

Thanks, Jan! Good information to know. I had no idea that there were actually two #10's! Thanks for posting this information. :-)

There is rental that is next door to Richard's that is called the Beaurang Residence and it is handled by Sun Rentals Bonaire. It looks amazing- I have only seen the outside. But the view on the web looks great too.

I've seen the inside. We walked in there in March looking for Jan's place (hey we're both blondes). A beautiful condo with a million dollar view.

Yeap, we tried knocking on the door, no answer. So we walked around to the beach side and walked onto the patio thinking it was your place. That's when we ran into a person staying there and he pointed us in the right direction.

I just returned from a two week stay in the Beaurang residence. It is a six bedroom six bath place with all the bells and whistles-marble counter tops, full AC, etc. But cheap is not in the description.

Hi Larry,
I have stayed at Beachfront Hamlet Villa 10 4x. The view is to die for, very convenient to walk down to Capt Don's for a meal. Nice dive, decent snorkel, easy access. Dive shop Photo Tours very convenient. Many rooms with a shared kitchen, living room, and patio, and each room has a small fridge. The rooms are small, each with 1-2 beds, clean. Front door is kept locked (depending on how the other residents comply)Lockers for dive gear out front. Convenient for a morning walk or run to the Andreas. Functional, not fancy, but I love the location and view. Main kitchen quite adequate, also outdoor barbeque I think. Pretty quiet, may hear the band at Capt. Don's one nite. Diane, Atlanta
