Can anyone tell me if the rooms at the Black Durgon Inn come with refrigerators?

I think Rona is on vacation (???). Anyway, I don't know if any of the rooms have a frig (the one that I was in didn't), but they have several large, community ones in their breakfast area that guests are welcome to use.

Steve

Black Durgon has two large guest refrigerators, one in the breakfast area and one upstairs near the ocean-viewed rooms.
We stayed at the Inn every time we visited the island and had no problem sharing the fridges with other guests.
We love the Inn with Small Wall dive site within reach and we enjoyed the opportunity to interact with other guests at the community kitchen.

Yeh, but then as you're sitting there with your ice cold beer, some guy comes along and wants to trade one of his warm beers for one of your cold ones..... :-) Hi Juni - how are you and the guy with the warm beers doing? Will we see you in July? It'll be Donna's 20th anniversary of bringing us all down - 7th year for John & I joining the group. Hope you're around then.....!

Hi all and thanks for your help with this... ah yes, holiday, and a holiday from the pc...

You are all correct, and to answer your question John, no fridges in the rooms, but there are 2 large ones in the kitchen for guest use. (and one upstairs on the patio also)

Thanks again :-)

Rona,

How about availability of ice for cool drinks?

Say 'Hello' to Al for me.

Hi Glen,
I will pass on your hellos to dad.

Cool drinks...no problem. Ice water is readily available in a water-cooler (day/night) and we have plenty of ice & trays in the freezers.

Rona,

I don't think you understand the definition of a holiday. It means no business contact. And you give me a hard time about bringing my computer to Bonaire?

Let Emily know we miss her entertainment while Jenni and I spend 5 hours waiting in the Miami airport and looking forward to another 3 hours in CUR before hopefully we arrive on Bonaire tonight. Hope you are have a good trip.

HI Terri,
I will be happy to email you some photos after holiday. You can email bonaire@blackdurgon.com

Mike, YOU ARE RIGHT! I will be sure to let Em know. Rick said I must remove my hands from the keyboard and step away from the computer slowly...

Hello, Rona and Mike. It is good to hear from each of you. Rona, How is the new pier comming along. If all goes well, I will be in the water next Thursday by 4:30 and smoking a cigar and drinking an ice cold beer by 6:00. For those of you reading this, if you have never treated yourself to a stay at the Black Durgon Inn, you should. You will not be disappointed. You can't stay anywhere on Bonaire closer to the water and the hospitality is the very best. Cheers! Lonnie

Lonnie,

Sorry Jenni and I missed you. We just returned from Bonaire last night. After a day of rest I will book tickets to return.
No change on the pier yet. I tried to help Al mark the position of the new pillings but there was a little problem. Al can update you when you are there. He working on a couple of plans. If you are on the Island around Christmas or New Years Jenni and I should see you then. Hope you have a great trip.

My husband & I also stayed @ the Black Durgon last Jan/Feb for 2 weeks and can't wait to return. We had no problems sharing the fridge(s) & made friends there that we'll cherish forever. That is part of the charm of the Black Durgon. A true home away from home, with hosts that truly care if you have a good vacation! We will be returning for 2 weeks(@ least)in February.
