We are thinking of staying at Hotel Rochaline and are interested in any opinions on that hotel. We have read elsewhere that it may be a little noisy at times with town traffic. We have stayed on Ambergris Caye, Belize in Cabana Grande at Hotel del Rio and are looking for a similar place on Bonaire. Thanks for any suggestions.

Stayed there one night in one bedroom with 2 bunk beds and a cot with my (now) ex-husband, my brother and sister-in-law and her friend. Our flight to Aruba was cancelled and there was no room at any other inn!!! So, needless to say, it was both the worst night and the funniest night we had on Bonaire. It was VERY noisy!!! How much that was do to the gang in my room, is another question. Our room was sorely lacking in amenities, but if you just want a room and plan to spend 90% of your time out of it, go for it - if the price is right

This may be a bit late for you if you have been to Bonaire already but for econnomy accommodation i would recomend it to anybody i just got back from 2 weeks on Bonaire and stayed at Rochaline, the room they gave me was a double with harbour view balcony, aircon, ensuite and tv, the room was cleaned daily clean towels provided, the cleaner even folded and put away clothes i had left out. All the staff are friendly and helpfull and the food in City cafe is good, and happy hour is excellent!.The only prolem with noise would be on Fri and Sat nights when they have DJs or live music,if you dont want to party then ask for a room facing Kaya Grandi which is quieter.
