so excited..just booked us for 2 weeks early December.

2 years ago we stayed at Black Durgon, loved it but missed having our own kitchen.

anyone stayed at the Pilot fish apartments associated with Black Durgon?
comments regarding it vs. the Golden Reef?

looking for simple, clean. both seem to have car/dive packages

thanks for your help
Nell

the pilot fish apartments are really older and right on busy main kaya where there is alot of construction right now...vs the Golden reef if in a quieter neighborhood...I would go for the Golden Reef. are you counting the days already ?

If you are looking for simple, and clean you could inquire about Bonaire Town Homes. We are going to stay there our next trip in early December. They have a 2 bedroom apartment that is very nice. We will be in the one bedroom apartment. It's in Nikiboko about 10 minutes max from the water.

We also stayed at a small house called Ultimo Cas a few years ago. It is in Hato and it is on the main road but it's on the water right next to Black Durgeon and has a wonderful water access right at your own house.

email me if you want more info on either place.

Nell, I have seen the inside of Golden Reef Inn and it is VERY nice and VERY clean. Liz does a good job there ! They are also very nice people. I hear the new place is nice too... the one with the pool on site. Keep us informed on what you chose and how you like it.

I second Renee's suggestion of Bonaire Town Homes. We got home last month from our 8th stay there, and love it. Clean, comfortable, fully-equipped and owned/managed by lovely people. I can't imagine anything better for the price.

Thanks for all of your suggestions.
We are booked at the Golden Reef, at their
new facility with the pool on site.

I am so excited to return to Bonaire.
And what a treat to be able to get there via
Houston on Continental...1 stop and total of 12 hours from Seattle, instead of the Atlanta, Jamaica route that took 25 hours to get home!
