Hi All, Is there still building work going on behind the Villa Studios at Captain Dons? We were there in September and there was lots of noise during the day - not great when you're trying to have a post-dive siesta! We're thinking of returning during the summer, but if the building work is ongoing then we might look at other accommodation. Cheers :-) Sharon

Hello Sharon, I apologize for any inconvenience the construction caused you during your last visit with us. However, it was completely out of our control as the property where the construction was and is taking place is not part of Habitat but is privately owned.

I can tell you that the heavy construction you experienced when you were here in September was the beginning ground work and digging the pool(which is always the noisiest)...they are much further along now and it is mostly finish work on the buildings and swimming pool. I just checked with our Rooms Division Manager and our Quality Controller and they both have told me that they have not received any recent complaints in regards to the construction on that site.

Once again my apologies and thank you for staying with us in September and we hope to see you back again.

Best regards,
Jack Chalk, General Manager
Habitat Bonaire N.V.
