We have been planning a vacation to Bonaire and now I found out the dates which would be best to take off work etcetera is about the same as the regatta, has anyone out there stayed on the island at this time? Is it hard to find rentals etcetera?

Oh what fun..music and shows every night..town is HOPPING...sailing races and more. Do NOT miss the windsurf event at Lac Bay. You will have no prob getting a rental if you pre reserve.

You should be able to find a rental easily if you start looking now. Depending on what type of accommodation, I'm sure the BonaireTalk folks can point you in the right direction.

I live here and personally Regatta is one of my favorite times. I like to watch the sailing and good hearted competition. It is very family oriented with lots participants from every age group.
