My memory is a little vague since I haven't visited Bonaire in 9 years so could someone help me out? I was wondering how the units were laid out in the time share building, I'm trying to re-call where our unit is located, whether it is upstairs/downstairs etc. If anyone had a map they could e-mail me I'd really appreciate it. The Divi website isn't very specific. Thanks..

If your unit starts with the number 2 you are on the second floor.

Ron, thanks for the laugh, 7 has come to be one of my favorite numbers, the unit is 719, I think it was located in the lower right hand side of the building, the years have taken it's toll on my memory. What was it again that I was asking??

Yes, it is. We have had it since 1988. But several times we did not stay in our particular unit and I can't remember where the darn thing is!

Roseanne, your unit is on the lower level at the end of the building. There used to be a tennis court next to your unit but it now a parking lot, fully fenced.

Thanks George. I heard the tennis courts were gone and replaced by a parking lot (paved paradise and put up a parking lot).I didn't recall our unit being on the very end but my memory has decreased as the years go by! Any unit is a good unit if it's in Bonaire!

So, any units that are more like hotel rooms than condos? Or bungalow-type units?

Mike, the time share units are like small efficiency units. They have 2 full beds, sofa that opens up to a bed, a bathroom (shower, toilet) and a small kitchen. They have a screened in deck/patio also. Divi also has regular hotel rooms. I hope this answers your question.

The timeshare units are basically all the same except that the ones on the ground floor can be exited thru the screen patio door also.
The viewes are around the pool, out to the ocean with gardends and palm trees. Some prefere upstairs, some down.
You will be pleasently surprised at the improvements of the property in 9yrs.
Refurbished all rooms and now TV and phones.
The front and rear slat doors are replace with glass sliding door out to the patio and more secure glass enterence door/wall, with room darkening shades on both.Fresh paint everwhere.
The dive shack and the piers are new too.
There is a covered patio by the diveshop by the timeshares, now with great hammock swings. There are hammoncks in the palm trees by the work out center.
New gardens and the casino is a slight bit larger too.
Divi held up to their promise to make it one of the best again.
