I'm curious as to who among the posters actually lives on Bonaire year round.

Captain Don (smart alec ain't I)

Well, I've edited myself. I had considered privacy when I put my original list up. I only listed folks who post on BT, have their full name in their profile (if not, I didn't list it) and have made it clear/known that they live on Bonaire. However, maybe we should just let them say it. My appologies to anyone whom I listed that didn't want to be "named."

Me, me, me...oh wait, not yet. I have to work, earn some money, retire and THEN I get to move there. I'm with Debbie - in spirit!

You missed Harrie Cox who was a neighbor of the WebCams when they were in Hato.

And Avy Benhamron

So, to live on Bonaire you have to be retired or rich or teach tourists diving or what? We are going to Bonaire for the first time for my B-Day this summer. Already I love it. I'm so over the top I think I need some major attitude adjustment to calm down or I'll never make it until June.

There are several others who live in Bonaire who are not on the list.
And then there is the list of us who own homes in Bonaire.

Linda, how could I forget Harrie, Avy, and of course, Michael!

I was thinking about this too, there are a lot of BTe'rs who own property and go down several times a year:-)

Please do not name anyone who owns a house or property on Bonaire and lives elsewhere without their express permission.

hi there, we stayed in Bonaire 1st time in August.
we'd like to live there for 2 months per year, life is not expensive (we're used to live in Italy, very expnsive), very friendly and quiet.
maybe in the futur, we'll buy a little home there and give in rental when we are in Italy. do you know if local laws agree that?

I received one private message making advertising of one real estate agent or something similar.b/c in the last post we sugsted the idea to buy maybe a house in your island...
I think it's not ok with your rules...

Francesca and Paola, please send the email to moderators@bonairetalk.com. If you received an email soliciting property, it is against BT rules.
