I read something that lead me to believe that only the bedrooms had AC at the Sand$. Is this true? How about the Divi?

Barry, most of the hotels only have AC in the bedrooms, and you are requested to only turn them on when you are in the rooms. Electricity is VERY expensive on Bonaire so it's more of a cost issue. I believe some of the units at Lion's Den (now part of Buddy's) have AC throughout the units (please, someone correct me if I'm wrong). The units at the new Den Laman have AC throughout as well. Those are the only 2 that I remember reading about that have AC throughout the units. However, if someone knows of any more, please post.

Divi has rooms, so they have AC. The time shares are larger and have AC.

Some of the Oasis Cottages at Capt. Don's and, of course, the Oceanview Suites (I think that's the name...Brian?) have AC throughout.

So the time shares at Divi (with a living quarter and separate bedroom) have AC throughout?

Hi, Cyn...the Divi timeshare rooms are a studio type setup. Basically one long shotgun type of setup with a wooden latice (sp?) type wall separating the kitchen from the sleeping/living area. One large a/c unit installed over the closet in the main sleeping/living area. They are fairly new units. Some of them "drip" condensation and we place a towel underneath on the floor. They are remote controlled, too, which is nice. There is also a ceiling fan over the two beds. Hope this helps....there are not two, separate rooms....at least not separated by a solid wall. There is a small bathroom closet type room, too...the shower (no tub) and the toilet, only. The sink is in between the kitchen and the bedroom area. Carole

Thanks Carole! That makes sense I'm not sure if Barry is asking about the "hotel" type rooms where there is only one room, or the type of set up such condos where the bedrooms are seperate from the living room, etc.
