We will be going to Bonaire for the first time in Feb. We are staying at the Divi in a ocean front room. Some people say that the bottom rooms may be alittle damp. I didn't know which floor is the best to see the fish out in the water. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Kent

Hi Kent,
Request a lower room, overlooking the water.

I think either is fine. I prefer the second floor and you can still see all the fish in the water.

Kent, I believe the term is "oceanfront deluxe". I have been in both the top rooms and the bottom, and I like them both for separate reasons.

The top floor is nice, but the bottom floor you can sit and watch the crabs on the rocks... pretty cool stuff.

You will like it no matter WHAT room you're in though... I love the Divi... sigh...

I just read your post a little better... ha ha... I have stayed in the bottom and never noticed any dampness, but maybe I got lucky?

Do request a small refrigerator though for your room. It comes in handy. I think it's $6.00 a night or some such thing.

The sound of the waves on the rocks will put you to sleep like a baby with not a care in the world.

The smell of the salt air will refresh your every breath.

The sun set from your private balcony is breathtaking.

"Would you care for another glass of wine my dear"?

Why, yes, Jerry, I do believe I'll have another. Thanks for asking! :-)
