Elisa, are you talking about for a couple weeks, or months? What is your price range?

Well, minimum would be three weeks and maximum would probably be a year. At or below $300 would be great! I am looking for a 1 bedroom apt. w/a nice kitchen for myself and my boyfriend. We don't need very much space at all and we are on a budget! We plan on being outside all of the time but really love to cook! Is it possible to find part-time jobs on the island too? If so, we would stay longer! We really need a break from the icy cold Maine waters (and weather!) and a break between undergraduate and graduate school!

Elisa, at the bottom of this page, go to the "Topics" link, and then click on the "Moving to Bonaire" section. There are loads of info on getting jobs on Bonaire. Basically, if you are not Dutch, or a local resident, you won't have much luck. The first jobs go to locals and Dutch residents, then they look for foreigners. Also keep in mind, you can only stay on island for 90 day stints, then you have to leave for a period of time. All this info in detail can be found in the Moving to Bonaire section.
