I saw an (August) note that someone used Amy at the above locale for booking at trip. Does anyone know what hours/location? I will try to call, but it is now later night here (2230) and don't want to call someone in middle of night.

Still having trouble finding Divi openings for first full week in December AND having trouble with flights (Chicago as departure most likely) to Bon this time around. Getting leery of AirJ - I just don't want to get stranded OUTSIDE of Bonaire! I could handle being stranded ON Bonaire! <g> I just wanna get there! Helpful information most appreciated, the sooner the better and thanks!

Hello Ginni in Wisconsin! This is Jeanine in Illinois. We went in August to Bon and took the AJ from Chicago. It went well. We had one delay, but that was brief and we got to grab some food at Margaritaville and were happy. Our flights were a little empty of people. My nephew actually got his own row on the plane and napped like a baby. It was off season, but I was still surprised at how empty the plane was. Next time, we are looking at flying AA. I must be honest here, they worry me more than AJ. I am a frequent flyer of AA, just because I kept going south and that was the easiest airway to find flights on. Every time I have flown south of the US boarder on AA, I have been late. Not an exaggeration - I do really mean every single flight. They can't seem to get the Chicago - Miami 6:05 am flight to take off on time. I have not yet tried going to Bon on them, but when we do, I am going to naturally expect delays. All of that said...I have been following all of the posts regarding AA and it seems a hit or miss situation once you get to Puerto Rico.

Good luck and enjoy Bon!

Amy at Caradonna Caribbean Tours can be reached at 1-800-328-2288 ext. 114 or amy@caradonna.com. They are located in Altamonte Springs Florida and, I believe, have normal business hours M-F. Don't know if they were affected by the hurricane. Amy has always been the best at taking care of our Bonaire travel needs.

Ginni,

We've used Donnamarie at Caradonna and she was great.

I just returned from Bonaire in Sept, and I used Aqua Dreams travel, they not only offered the same package but it was cheaper.

I have used Caradonna for several years and have been happy with them.
Donnamarie has taken another job so she is no longer at Caradonna, she left just after arranging my last trip in July.

Hi Ginni - I'm also in Wisconsin!
Just returned from Bonaire and used Dawn at Caradonna - flights/hotel were perfect. No problems at all. Flights were Appleton-Atlanta-San Juan-Bon (was cheaper to leave from Appleton than Milwaukee! and closer for me, too!) Good luck, dive safe, have fun!
Becky

My husband and I have been lucky enough to visit Bonaire for the last 9 or so years (lost track). We've spoken with many folks at Caradonna which we have used to arrange every trip. Amy is very client focused and efficient. We have had very few challenges when she is directly involved in helping us plan our trip. She is also pretty creative about finding flights and making your trip happen.....she managed to help us out again this year on really short notice! We will have a bit of a layover on Aruba this year but that is at least getting close....Heading down to Bonaire on Dec. 10th. Can't wait to say hello to all my underwater friends.

And Amy - if you're reading this - can't wait to actually meet you in person that week!
