Have stayed at HHH twice over the past year and have nothing but great things to say. Louise and Mel are wonderful hosts. The bungalows are spacious, spotlessly clean, and nicely furnished. They also include a phone that you can use to call the U.S. direct for only 50 cents per minute. Internet access is also available for a reasonable weekly rate. These bungalows are set up perfect for divers, with wash tubs and an outside, lockable closet to hang gear.

You will not find a nicer place to stay for the price.

I have to second everything that Richard has said, we've been going to Bonaire for 10 years and have spent the last 7 at HHH. You will love the place and Louise, Kitty and Mel are wonderful hosts.

I also agree with Richard. We have only stayed at HHH 1 time but that is because we want to be right on the water. HHH is about a block from the water. The units are nice and large and have rinse area for dive/snorkel gear with pegs to hang items. It is quite and laid back, your Host/Hostesses are nice people and will do all in their power to make your trip memorable.

We would also agree, we have stayed there 7 or 8 times. Also, Louise or Kitty will make your car or truck reservations if you want them to.

If you think your rates are high - try going from Colorado to Bonaire <g>!! It will be worth it.

We stayed at HHH in April. As stated above, it is set up well for shore diving. Be advised that running the air conditioner during the day that is located in the sleeping area is not looked upon favorably. Also, maid service is not conducted every day. We did not have hot water in our unit and nothing was done about it when we reported it. We did not make an issue of it because we found we didn't need to take hot showers given the unit was plenty warm to begin with - especially the first 2 days when the wind died. It's not too bad when the wind is blowing and the back and front doors are open. That said we intend to stay at HHH from now on when its just my wife and I on the island. It's perfect for shore diving and the price is great. Have a great trip.

I've stayed there twice and Louise is great- she really looks after you. It is a great, low-maintenance HQ for your adventures. She also has a myna bird named Chuckles, it lives on the porch at the office. If you are going to stay there, ask Louise if she needs anything for the bird- it's hard to find the special food the bird needs and she has to pay a lot of shipping from the US. Just an FYI for the more animal-friendly folk.

This is the 4th year we've spent with Louise and Mel and Kitty...it is as advertized: clean, secure, and very convenient for divers. For the amenities offered, it is very reasonable. A kitchen stocked with the essential equipment makes it nice to eat between adventures. Louise will set up your dive package with Photo Tours as well as reserve a truck thru Budget. However, we miss the donkeys as they have been rounded up and taken to the sanctuary!!

Yep, We recommend HHH also. Clean rooms with all that you need to have a great stay. As for the hot water, nope no hot water in our room. But you really don't need it unless you're one of those people who languish in it. Louise's bird is named Heckle (like Heckle and Jeckle) and I imagine she would like a few things from the states from time to time.

HHH is a GREAT value. We spent about a third less for a 15 night stay, groceries for breakfast, and a couple of buffets at a local resort, and dive package at a local resort.. VS the whole package at the resort which includes room, daily buffet, and dive package. The units have a nice little patio and porch as well as some privacy. Lots of space for hanging clothes and dive gear.
