Hi All

Had a very pleasant 4 night stay at Golden Reef Inn in Belnem (the townhouse units) from April 30 to May 4.

This was sixth trip, first without Patty, so I brought along a diving buddy and to save money we chose Golden Reef. You get a lot for your money at Golden Reef; nice extras include an indoor storage area for diving equipment/snorkel gear, a washing machine, some food in the fridge, a backyard patio with a clothesline, lots of clean towels and linens, and it's quiet.

The heat was brutal this time, low 90's during the day, so even with the ceiling fans on the first floor it is not easy to hang around the house during the day. But recommend it for high value to dollar spent. Thanks Liz and Renee.

Carl

Nell - Liz and Ed have a couple of townhouses in Belnam - across from Bachelors Beach. These are managed as part of the Golden Reef Inn.

The main location of the Inn is in Hato (about 3 roads back from the ocean). At that location there are 4 efficiencies and 1 villa (which is basically 2 rooms) - but not attached to the building with that houses the efficiencies - it is right next to them.

Their properties are very nicely set up and well kept up.

I hope this answers your questions. You can email them from their website and they will answer any of your questions.

Jena and I just loved The Golden Reef Inn in quiet Hato. We stayed from March 5th through the 12th. It was everything we wanted, quiet and away from the crowds, peaceful, good nights sleep every night, and relaxing after a full day of diving, and dive we did. (me 22 and Jena 21) . We will be back and we will recommend your wonderful place to anyone we know that is planing a trip to Bonaire. This was our 4 dive trip to the Caribbean and we always try to find a local place to stay and away from the big resorts. I'm a local businessman and believe in doing business with local establishments, so far we have not been disappointed and I would rank The Golden Reef Inn as the best we have been to. A big thank you to you and to Renee. We are starting to plan our next trip and my vote goes to return to Bonaire and to your place.
