Has anyone stayed at or know any information about the Sunset Ocean Apartment operated by Katharina Broekhof? We know it is in Hato, but not sure exactly where. We are wondering about snorkeling in front of the apartment or nearby? What is near the apartment? Does it have hot water? How is the apartment overall? Thanks so much!

While I did not stay in the Hato location, I did visit it while in Bonaire during Feb 2002. The reef out front will have good snorkeling. It is very close to the small wall dive site. The house is just north of the power plant/water plant. We may stay there next trip. Also, Kathy was a wonderful "host". We stayed in a condo at Light House Beach resort that she manages and we found her to be excellent. When we arrived late at night, she met us at the airport, arranged & paid for a taxi & stocked the fridge with snacks, breakfast, beer & wine!!!! She was very responsive when we had a problem with the fridge.
