Deluxe accomodations at Divi were just great; great view of the water, good air conditioning (room 202) and good service. Found the breakfast and all other meals there were very good. No refridgerator in room; however, they are available at $6 per day and I suggest that you reserve in advance of your arrival. Room safe is available in the room but you must rent the key and lock for a nominal charge (which is insignificant - and which I don't remeber...must be the punch). Friendly staff in every way. Glad to hear we be in an Deluxe Ocean room at the Divi in August. They e mailed me back and said all the renovations were complete other than the breakfast restaurant.

Does anyone know if all of the renovations on the "timeshare" side are completed at this point in time?? ALL of the rooms??? Supposed to get new windows, new air units (where needed) and some new appliances, cable tv, etc. They had the new appliances last May in the unit and the outside was painted after we left, but they had not yet started the new leuver windows, etc. Can anyone give us a detailed update on the timeshare units? We arrive there on May 18....

hate to give you the bad news....Divi has been duping the owners again...I have been pressing Fran for an honest response since last year. The improvements were supposed to be complete by Dec 01 (per Fran's absolute committment). We arrived for 2 weeks over xmas and found about 1/3 of the rooms had new a.c., most had the appliances NONE had the windows/doors etc. I contacted Fran several weeks ago and she gave me some phony excuse that the windows and doors had to be custom designedin the U.S....she told me Nov 1 that the doors/windows were on site in Bonaire...now she says they have not been fab'd yet. I'll be there at the end of June 02; other friends will be first week of May...that should give us an update. Monitor the diviownersunderground site for updates or email me direct

forgot to add, just today received invoices for 03 rooms....Yep!!! rates went up to $400 (not too surprised since they did spend all the money on the hotel portion)

Hey there folks! We will be arriving at the Divi soon...third trip there and looking forward to it. I was wondering if anyone has stayed in timeshare unit 710 recently to give me an "air conditioner functioning condition" report?? i.e. does it cool the room down well and keep it that way?? We are used to the "dripping" aspect of the unit, but wanted to be certain it still cooled down the room well.

Also, I was also curious about the timeshare (Club Flamingo) pool...how is the water now? It was a bit "cloudy" last May and appears it could have used a good scrubbing down and blasts of "Shock" treatment, etc.

Can anyone comment on Unit #710 and the pool?
