Hi - We are considering staying at a timeshare at the Divi resort. People here seem to like the Divi in general. Are the timeshares as good as the rest of the resort? We don't need luxury but want safe, clean and good location.

The timeshare rooms are a bit larger, have a kitchenette, two queen sized beds, a sofa bed, two easy chairs, and a screened in patio with a table, 4 chairs, and a chaise lounge. The bed/sitting room has A/C, so you can be A/C'd all day long if you like and the WEB generators have been fixed/replaced.

Hi. Back in the 80's my wife and I taught SCUBA. We would take groups to the Divi Flamingo and stay in the Hotel. When they built the timeshares we jumped on the opportunity and bought one. We went there for MANY years and LOVED our timeshare. We have not been there for 10 years now just because we wanted to visit other islands. We have two kids now. Our only "negative" about the timeshares at DIVI is that they are all "Studio". This means that although they are rated to sleep 6, that would have to be a VERY friendly 6 because the studio is basically one room. If you have more than 2 there will be almost no privacy. Our 12 yr. old son just got certified in SCUBA last summer so we will be going back to Bonaire this summer, around the 4th of July. Maybe we will see you there. I hope you dive. We have been all over the Caribbean diving and Bonaire is our favorite.

Our solution is to use an extra week of our timeshare along with our current one, with any hope the one next to ours. We had traveled with teenage girls and found one bathroom not enough with the girls.

Plus you just can't beat the location. It's just a short, enjoyable walk to town along the lovely waterfront. And then there's all those wonderful restaurants along the way.
