We're coming to Bonaire in March and will be staying at Villa Eden for a week (wish it was longer after reading all the enthusiastic posts on BT). How is this part of Bonaire - Santa Barbara- and is anyone familiar with this villa? Also wanted to know if the Sunday gatherings at Lac Cai still take place and what time market day in Rincon starts and ends? This is our first trip to the island and any info/suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to Bonaire Talk Flo, I can't help you but I am sure someone will try to answer your questions. Are you divers, snorklers or windsurfers?? you don't have much info in your profile..

We're 3 snorkelers and 1 diver. Perhaps some of us will feel brave enough to attempt windsurfing. We were thinking of trying boka slagbaai in the park, pink beach, klein bonaire, and maybe some kayaking and snorkeling in the mangroves at lac bay (read there is a reef there as well). Any other suggestions or favorite dive operation - seems like you can't really go wrong.

When you go over to Kline you might like to do a sail and snorkel on the Woodwind. It is a really great way to spend a morning. I am staying at Bonaire from 13 to 27 march and I am a single diver, because my wife doesn't dive.
Maybe because you are telling 1 diver, it is a possibility to make dives with the single diver?
It is the second time at Bonaire so we do know some places to go.
