Hi Russ,

Divers Paradise used to be called the Diversions Apartments. They are right across the street from us (it's about a 100 foot walk). Dan & Faith Senie stayed there in October - maybe they can comment?

Also, my wife Linda's art studio is in one of the downstairs apartments, so we obviously like the place :-)

The apartments feature an air conditioned bed room, a living room, a deck or balcony, bathroom, and small kitchen. The upstairs apartments are the ones typically rented out to vacationing people, bottom ones are longer term rentals.

Jake

I'll make a few comments. Generally the apartment was decent. The kitchen was a bit under-stocked with essentials (colander, decent knife) though we bought and left behind those items for the next guest.

This property used to be called "Diversions." On a previous visit, my mother stayed in one of the downstairs units, and Faith and I stayed in Bas' room at Jake & Linda's (think that was the trip where we first installed the webcam system).

We thought the apartments could use a few really inexpensive alterations that'd make a huge difference. The unit we stayed in had windows on the east side that didn't open. If they had opened, we could have had much better airflow through the place, keeping it cooler. We were there in October (hot time of year). While we could hook the front door open and get the airflow, you wouldn't want to do that all night.

The "king bed" was two twins pushed together. The bedroom lacked nightstands or really much of anyplace to put stuff down other than the floor. One part of the closet smelled of mildew, and really needed a thorough cleaning.

Overall, the place was decent, and was convenient for us since we were visiting with Jake and Linda and working on the webcam system and such. You'll need a vehicle to do just about anything from that spot.

Daniel,

When was the last time you stayed at Divers Paradise?

Monique

We were there in October for 2 weeks.
