This is a three bedroom house,on the water. Looks great, just looking for input from anyone who might have stayed there.

We stayed at Casa Cia for a week in August '03.
Our experience was negative. Nice dive site but the ladder broke the first day making entry and exit laborious and hazardous. Management was not attentive to our request to repair it. Also,no hot water. Cold showers after a night dive were the pits. Backyard was neither well-maintained nor a pleasant place to hang-out.Bedrooms were on the dark & gloomy side, so we ended up dragging a mattress into the living room.
On the other hand, we met a couple from Queens who had stayed there the previous year & loved it. Go figure.

Hi Greg and Lani,

We stayed at Casa Cia a few years ago, before the next door neighbor extended the wall preventing divers from getting to the good ladder up from the sea. We expected no hot water and brought down a sun shower--a camping item which, after laid out in the sun, heats up about 5 gallons of water. In the afternoon, the water in the pipes for the outdoor shower was HOT and quite nice.
We had a blast -- perhaps our expectations were lower.
We found a frogfish, a couple of seahorses, saw lots of critters and enjoyed many dives from our back yard.
The house shook when the airplanes took off and more than once the donkeys managed to get into the yard. Call us crazy, but we had a great time.
Did you manage to find the orchids on the tree in the front yard? Did you fill up the hummingbird feeder and watch the hummingbirds, bananaquits and troupials feed?
How about watching the sunsets?
Mare

Hey Greg and Lani. Mary, we met these folks. We dove from Casa Cia the summer of 03 with their permission while they were renting. Somebody came by and removed the ladder while we were out diving, making our return to shore tricky. I remember we didn't trust the new ladder anyway and had entered from the rock shore on the left. Greg and Lani showed up while we were out diving and we chatted about flora, termites, and the Central Americas. Check their picture.

BTW, many places such as Casa Cia are no longer listed on the Sun website.
