We are staying at Captain Dons for 12 days and they have changed our reservation, upgrading us to a villa suite for 6 days and for the final 6 are moving us to the flamboyant units on the property, is anyone familiar with these, any advise would be welcome.

We will be staying at Flaboyant units from 2/12 for 8 days and were told by the travel agent that they are ususally reserved for Europeans. We don't know the implications of that, so would appreciate any additional information.
Thanks,

The Flambouyant (sic) units are all privately owned. I own unit 1609-1611. Capt. Don's manages, rents and is responsible for upkeep and cleaning. They can be rented to anyone and may be directly requested I would like to know the name of the agent (or agency) who told you that they are for Europeans. I would also love your feedback after your stay, no matter which unit you stay in. Based upon guest feedback I plan on upgrading appliances and furnishings.

We had an awesome time in Bonaire, would I go back to Captain Don's, absolutely! We didn't wish to stay in the Flamboyant because we wanted to see the sunset (you need to pay up for this) every night from our lodging. The Flamboyant is at the back of the property, actually it's adjacent to the property. It's a short walk to the bar, the dive center and even the tiny grocery store down the street. Pay up if you want the sunset.
