I stayed there last year in a studio and I have a planned visit in March. The studio is larger then a typical hotel room and has a small kitchen area as well. There is a pool right off the door and an outdoor grill under a gazebo. The units are in a somewhat confined area as there is a brick wall with limited openings. The location is in a good part of town and is well lit. There is a waterfront area in walking distance but i wouldn't call it a beach, more of a rocky slope. Access to the water is easy but not for sun bathing. I don't know how old your daughter is but my 20 year old son will sleep on the couch. The benifit of the studio is that the whole unit is air conditioned as opposed to just the bedrooms which is typical. I have also stayed at Happy Holiday Homes, Carib Inn, Bonaire Townhomes, and Divi in the past and found all comfortable but Yachtclub is the only one i've had multiple stays at. That says something.

We have stayed there twice now and are going back in January. We always have a one bedroom apartment (no 5) as we like the extra room. The kitchen is small but sufficient for our needs, we generally eat out, but once in a while get fed up with restaurant food and need to cook something simple! The pool is normally quiet which is great. There is a BBQ area at the back of the pool which people can use if they want. We have also stayed at the bigger hotel complexes before but much prefer Yachtclub. If anything goes wrong Marcel, the owner, is great. We left our lights on in the truck out at The Lake and after we hitched a ride back to the apartments, he came out straight away and sorted it out. It's walking distance to Wannadive and Yellow Submarine dive centres and also to town if you're feeling energetic. Great pizza restaurant 2 mins walk also. They get our vote everytime. As to your question re a beach, Bongos Beachbar/restaurant is only 10 mins walk which have quite a nice beach (Wannadive is also there).
Hope this helps and enjoy your hols. Rgds, Jo

Highly recommended - we seldom go back twice to a place but have done with Yacht club and would again.
